Before and After #4: Color
I The original graphic was very cluttered and was hard to read. Part of this was due to the various color schemes used and part of this was due to the font located randomly all over the page.
When I redesigned the graphic I chose to use about three colors, which tends to be more safe and easier to read. I also used an analogous palette by using greens and blues together, as these colors are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. The two blues pulled the blue tones out of the graphic in the center. I also used a website that evaluates graphics as to how they would look to someone who is colorblind and the graphic was still able to be read and comprehended.
