Before and After #2: Graphic Choice
The before image I chose was a very, very plain graphic showing the difference between positive and normative analysis. The graphic was very basic, had no images, and really did not explain much about the information at hand.
When I redid the graphic I added quite a few things. I first labeled the top of the graphic (in the top left third) with what information was being addressed. I then included a clip art graphic of the brain with the right and left side images to help depict and show some of the information. Since one side of the brain is more involved with facts and one side with creativity and opinion, I felt that this graphic would help show some of the information visually. I also made the graphic the largest item to draw attention, and centered it for this reason as well. I also used rectangles behind the words "positive" and "normative" to draw attention to each area, hopefully highlighting this and the information below.
